The Suffolk County Police Department spoke with our 7th & 8th grade students about the dangers of using social media. The officers discussed the terms and conditions of popular social media platforms, what a digital footprint is, and the harms of social media trends. Students had the opportunity to ask questions of their own and learn strategies to mitigate potential harm.
